Our Agar-Agar enjoys a growing popularity as more and more consumers around the world prefer foodstuffs that are produced with jellifying agents from vegetable origin. ALW Agar-Agar comes from an ISO-certified supply source and thus meets the strictest quality criteria. It also perfectly complies with the Kosher and Halal norms for the production of foodstuffs, desserts and confectioneries. Besides the standardized food qualities, we offer special qualities for the microbiology. On request, we supply ALW Agar-Agar in the specific gel strength you need.
QSA - QUICK SOLUBLE AGAR®
QSA® is a physically modified Agar-Agar which is already soluble at 80 °C, whereas
a normal Agar-Agar has to be cooked for complete dissolution.
This property
makes QSA® the ideal ingredient for interesting applications, such as the production
of low-fat foodstuffs, dairy products, dressings and delicatessen as well as
Kosher and Halal foodstuffs. It can also partially replace gelatine in some recipes.
