A natural exudate of some acacia species from the African Gum Belt, Gum Arabic/Acacia Gum is a versatile ingredient for food, dietary, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, petfood and technical applications. QUICK GUMTM is ALFRED L. WOLFF’s brand of purified, process-optimized Gum Arabic/Acacia Gum, a range of powder qualities with instant-soluble properties. QUICK GUMTM exists as an aqueous solution too. From pre-coating or gumming the centers of dragees/pan-coated goods with sugar-based QUICK COATTM or polyol-based QUICK COATTMSUGARFREE to polishing/glazing the surface with QUICK SHINETM or QUICK GLANZTM and sealing the brilliance with QUICK LACTM, the Confectionery Performers allows for an easy handling, a quicker production process with a better product stability of the finished products. QUICK ACIDTM cares for the souring effect in dragees/pan-coated goods, either inside the kernel and/or in the surface covering. QUICK CHEWTM is ALFRED L. WOLFF’s gelatine-free texturant for chewy confectioneries. It fits in Halal and Kosher recipes as well as in the formulation of Vegetarian products as it does not contain animal gelatine.
